Yep. Can't forget the pills. A ton of male enhancement commercials during games throughout the season, among others.

I agree....

How absolutely disturbing that it's so promoted these days....
Recently I was forced to deal with some acquaintances who don't go a day or 2 without getting high.....
I can't describe how annoying dealing with people like that can be, & with legalization....
it's gonna get harder & harder to.

As a friend of mine used to say, this country is going to Hell in a handbasket

When exactly was this country not going to hell in a handbasket?

There is something wrong with you if you think a Government should outlaw and wage the longest and costliest war in this nation's history on a God-given plant, no matter if you personally care about the plant or not. At the least, you can admit it is not possible to successfully outlaw alcohol, let alone a plant.

Beer cannot be compared to weed. Marijuana is closer to Xanax than it is to a fizzy drink with hops and low levels of alcohol. A person can easily get wasted on a few hits off a joint with the current purity levels of today's pot. It takes a lot more beer to get drunk and there's no beer "contact high". Weed should be taken seriously as a drug to help with certain medical conditions, and not a joke to be used recreationally.

Cannabis is nowhere near Xanax. That is hyperbole! I don't know about you, but I know a few hits from a joint isn't going to put me in to a stupor the way alcohol can. According to the chart I saw, based on my body weight 4 beers puts me at legally drunk. Secondly, there is no proof that one can get a contact high. Finally, cannabis has nowhere near the horrible effects on the body that alcohol has. Not to mention... one can potentially drink themselves to death. Nobody has ever smoked themselves to death.

How many beers equal how much weed? Beer is predictable, weed is not. Xanax is predictable, weed is not. If you have never had a contact high, you have never ridden in a car with a bunch of stoners passing a bong or gone to a rock concert before the security nazis took over. It takes very little effort to get high, it's easy. If you have good weed, it isn't that difficult to get to stupor level.

Personally I wouldn't touch Xanax with a 10 foot pole. Secondly, when I've worked as a club DJ (didn't smoke back then) I smelled weed all of time, and never got a contact buzz. Third, back in the day if I was in that car load of stoners, I would have been hitting the bong too. Finally, when I toke, I do pace myself.... say maybe 2 hits from the bowl, than come back later. At any rate, even if you get totally baked the effects might be intense at first, but do not linger anywhere as long as alcohol. Nor is there a hangover like alcohol.
