At the undergraduate level, college teaches two skills (how to learn, and how to think independently and critically)... and that's it. Absolutely helpful, but not a replacement for job-related skills at all. Most people don't need to finish college and can move on to trade schools or other methods of learning job skills.

that and DOD are the big money makers not steel and car manufacturing.
for the black person college has proven to be the way up. diversity advocacy is there if you look .
but not for whites.
trades are the way up for most whites, not advanced degrees.too many advanced degree people looking for a manager job.
