Bullcrap it wasn't a lame excuse. I am pretty sure you would have done the same if you were in her shoes. Gov. Palin had taken a pay cut of $25,000 from her salary of 125k when she returned from the campaign trail in a attempt to save Alaskan taxpayers money. When the 25th ethic lawsuit was filed, she had amassed around a $700,000 dollar legal defense bill and was practically in bankruptcy plus she was unable to do her daily duties as governor as she and her staff were tied up in countless depositions every week. It's not hard to figure it out why it was the best interest to resign. She put the state first and did that. She turned the duties over to Lt. Governor Sean Parnell so states business could continue uninterrupted. After she stepped down not a single ethics lawsuit was filed again and eventually all ethics lawsuits were dismissed as frivolous by the courts.
Bull crap right back atcha. She punked out. Duties as governor? In a state that has less people in it that almost any big city in the US? Maybe she could have carved out the time spent pardoning a turkey to attend a depo.

Maybe if she wouldn't have been committing ethic violations, this wouldn't have been an issue for her, but she couldn't keep her nose clean and choose to abuse her power as governor and paid for it forcing her to resign from governor.
You are basically cheerleading a corrupt politician.

No, she was a future political threat to Obama and democrat operatives took advantage of a legal loophole in Alaska law where any ethic complaint filed, the state attorney general would have to investigate using Alaska taxpayers money. That was the democrats golden opportunity to file away complaints on baseless accusations against her. Again, after she stepped down to save taxpayers money, they were all dismissed without merit. Which means in a court of law she was innocent. After she handed over the reigns to the Lt. Governor, he had the statute changed where if any ethics complaint was filed against a governor, the state of Alaska now has to provide legal defense funds for them instead of them paying for it out their own expenses.
Changes to Alaska's ethics rules
On December 22, 2010, new rules governing Alaska executive branch ethics, stemming from Sarah Palin's tenure as governor, took effect:
"These include allowing for the state to pay legal costs for officials cleared of ethics violations; allowing for a family member of the governor or lieutenant governor to travel at state cost in certain circumstances and allowing an immediate family member to use an official's state-issued cell phone or BlackBerry if the usage is limited or under monthly or unlimited plans

You are aware she was found guilty of ethical violations so those new rules wouldn't have applied to her because she wasn't cleared of ethics violations.
Did you think Obama had any business running for national office with zero executive experience without any governing skills.
Same qualifications as our 16th president who ran nothing more than a 2 man law office.
