That is the report by the CBO, a non-partisan group. It is not a lie irregardless of how many liberals wish it so. The simple FACT is that Obamacare not only will kill some jobs but it will also cause others to choose handouts over work.

By the way, this is from the CBO report on Tuesday Feb 4.

People retiring early or starting small businesses, dont reduce the number of hours worked.. They'd still be working

But what doesn't make sense to me is to embrace the CBO projections yet reject their explaination or not understand their explanation.
Their projections are questionable, but its the left wing kooks which continue to argue its valid..

Where in the report does it say what the employers will do with 2.3M less employees? Where will the demand for labor go?

As another poster stated, it doesnt begin to touch upon why the demand for labor dries up over ACA it just reports on the results..

You dont like it, then YOU take it up with the CBO.. Many of us on the right have been telling you for YEARS this was going to happen..

its only a real possibility if you dumb down peoples salaries in order to make the exchange enticing through welfare subsidies, thereby increasing the wealth inequality in the nation..

Obamacare’s scorekeepers deliver a game-changer

Dana Milbank, Published: February 4

I watched a lengthy report on CNN this morning that emphasized who badly this report made the GOP look. Why is this so different? It has the links and details exactly the opposite things CNN did. It's nice to compare both.

Quote:
For years, the White House has trotted out the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office to show that Obamacare would cut health-care costs and reduce deficits:

“CBO Confirms Families Will Save Money Under Health Reform.†@ CBO Confirms Families Will Save Money Under Health Reform | The White House

“CBO Update Shows Lower Costs for the New Health Care Law.†@ CBO Update Shows Lower Costs for the New Health Care Law | The White House

“CBO Confirms: The Health Care Law Reduces the Deficit.†@ CBO Confirms: The Health Care Law Reduces the Deficit | The White House

Live by the sword, die by the sword, the Bible tells us. In Washington, it’s slightly different: Live by the CBO, die by the CBO.

The congressional number-crunchers, perhaps the capital’s closest thing to a neutral referee, came out with a new report Tuesday, and it wasn’t pretty for Obamacare. The CBO predicted the law would have a “substantially larger†impact on the labor market than it had previously expected: The law would reduce the workforce in 2021 by the equivalent of 2.3 million full-time workers, well more than the 800,000 originally anticipated. This will inevitably be a drag on economic growth, as more people decide government handouts are more attractive than working more and paying higher taxes.
And the piece contains White Efforts to spin the report. But, check it out for yourself @ Dana Milbank: Obamacare’s scorekeepers deliver a game-changer - The Washington Post thanks to Drudge

LOL…Jay Carney called the CBO report "incomplete" and postponed his daily press briefing until he could find some economist to take questions.
Obama's top advisor Sperling rejected the CBO report completely.

So what's next ?
I predict a shakeup at the CBO and a new report issued

OMG..someone said the Emperor has no clothes on…..

Do you disagree with anything I just typed ?
No. The article itself corrects this at the bottom.

But the WH still rejected it.

All these people that choose to take it easy better not complain when they have no 401K, IRA, Roth and only get $300 in SS because they "took it easy".

And the report said "it would be the result of Americans choosing not to work, for various reasons".
