That is the report by the CBO, a non-partisan group. It is not a lie irregardless of how many liberals wish it so. The simple FACT is that Obamacare not only will kill some jobs but it will also cause others to choose handouts over work.
By the way, this is from the CBO report on Tuesday Feb 4.
Since the ACA allows people that option economically, the CBO feels that many will do that as well as retire early, start small business, etc. It's the affordability of HC that gives people that option.
People retiring early or starting small businesses, dont reduce the number of hours worked.. They'd still be working

As another poster stated, it doesnt begin to touch upon why the demand for labor dries up over ACA it just reports on the results..

Yes, those are very real possibilities as long as the ACA and the exchanges provides people with the ability to get health insurance untied to their employer.
its only a real possibility if you dumb down peoples salaries in order to make the exchange enticing through welfare subsidies, thereby increasing the wealth inequality in the nation..
I watched a lengthy report on CNN this morning that emphasized who badly this report made the GOP look. Why is this so different? It has the links and details exactly the opposite things CNN did. It's nice to compare both.

Obama's top advisor Sperling rejected the CBO report completely.

The Report says that people will choose to work less hours because they can buy insurance on the exchange.
the CBO never says there will be 2 million less worker, it says people will work less hours equivalent to 2 million workers.

But the WH still rejected it.
All these people that choose to take it easy better not complain when they have no 401K, IRA, Roth and only get $300 in SS because they "took it easy".
