How many on the list did you support of vote for?

But look how awful the economy and jobs, and poverty are, so it's not as if we don't have anything historic to show for all those trillions.

Why do posts like this keep occurring based on platforms that always seem irrelevant?

Just having an (R) after their name does not make the person a Conservative, much less a fiscal conservative, anymore then putting a (D) after their name means they are opposed to crony corporate cronyism.

The rank and absolute know nothingism of conservatives where it concerns the national debt is truly amazing.

Here it is 2014 and conservatives are still pretending or not understanding that their advocacy for the GWBush tax cuts, their advocacy for the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, combined with the worst financial crisis which caused the worst recession since the Depression, are all mostly responsible for the ballooning national debt.

This is not to excuse President Obama, but reality is reality and the reality is that conservative policies during the GWBush administration cheerleader by conservatives are mostly responsible for the increase in the national debt.

The fact that conservatives continue to ignore this reality shows why I think so little of conservatism.

The Republicans who claim to be Fiscal conservatives have no idea how to lower the debt. Fisal consevatives believe in paying their bills and having little or no debt. Not one Republican can claim that. The idea of cutting income while waiting for the bills to come due is nonsence.

As to the vote, a very good job of making stuff up to fit the issue lead to the results. nice try to deflect

Right now the (R)'s in Congress are only interested in keeping taxes low for their sponsers. They also want to try to keep the IRS from changing the rules that 501(c)(4)'s are created.
Something about that money means free speech - and business doesnt want the public to know.

And it shows. If businesses were run like the federal government the owner would be jailed and the company would be defunk.

Government, at least Obama's government doesn't even know that businesses have to pay quarterly taxes. idiots!

Those increases in tax revenues were primarily attributed to an economy being driven by the housing bubble.

Those tax cuts did not expire when the bubble popped and the economy crashed.
