Cinco De Mayo isn't even a national Mexican holiday, it's only celebrated in one Mexican state .
That really says it all. Someone should point out to the school administrators that Cinco de Mayo is an entirely manufactured "holiday" by the beer companies to sell more beer.
So we are no longer in America?
Americans with origins here can't celebrate who they are in that demographic?
We are global citizens that celebrate diversity and respect multiculturalism now.
This is what we've turned into.
Cinco De Mayo is a bigger event where I am than Veteran's Day or Columbus Day or even D-Day.
There's never a mention of Sweet Sixteen anymore but plenty of planning for Quinceanera.
The majority do get what they want whether you like it or not.
Adjust and adapt is your only recourse.
But they are calling it America Day- as it should have been from the beginning.
