And this is why the republican party chases away black conservatives like myself. Their rhetoric is so constantly offensive to women, blacks, immigrants and any other none WASP that I could never support them. Most of the conservatives I like have been renounced by the Tea-party led kabal and are called RINO's by the right. It just seems like they are cutting off their nose to spite their face.

I wont go past those states because those are the only ones I have been through.
Granted I don't know how true this is but you get the point.

The Republican Party is one big government check and yet they want small gubbermint.

Heres a link how a good part of the Tea Party types voted againt their interests.

Because Tea party people will vote for what is good for the country over what is good for themselves. They still believe in country over self

You respond like many other conservatives I know. Instead of saying "you make a good point, we should change certain things" instead you say well look at what they said.

Medicare isn't welfare. People work and pay into the Social Security/Medicare fund all their working lives. So, yeah, they did pay for it.

Because they are stupid enough to believe that just because they live in a low population area they somehow do everything for them self. They do not, most of them rely on the gov. for a SS check, someone to mine metal and basic materials like Oil, and then produce them into something useful. But because they live in some podunk empty crap hole they are independent. LMAO Not even close Opie.

People seem to be equating Medicare with Medicaid. It's not the same thing. One you pay into all your working life, and you're supposed to get when you turn 65. The other is given to poor people who qualify, no matter their age. So, your logic is faulty, not the other way around.

Not really. I'm not sure how pointing out which group is using the most welfare is a bad thing. The government can't do much other than cut welfare.

North Korea and Iran couldn't do it, but China and Russia are superpowers. What happens when the USA is no longer a superpower? Do you think the world will just suddenly get peaceful? Of course not! Someone will fill that power vacuum.

I don't think that, and I'm sure most Gen X'ers I know don't either. We're the children of the baby boomers, and we know you worked for it.
