Now it's official: The Bermuda Triangle is a bunch of bunk.

For decades, rumors persisted that hundreds of ships and planes mysteriously vanished in the area between Miami, Puerto Rico and Bermuda because it was cursed or patrolled by extraterrestrials.

I spent 7 months sailing through the Bermuda Triangle, working with the Bahamas Air-Sea Rescue Association.
Never saw a thing out of the ordinary.

I have never believed the hoopla surrounding the Bermuda Triangle. That said, I wouldn't go near it by plane or ship. I'm just not quite confident enough. And boy, does it make for some good stories!
