No, because you seem to think this has anything to do with "respect[ing] a state's right to not acknowledge gay marriage." It doesn't. He's not telling states that they have give equal benefits to gay couples. That's not in his power to do.

What he does have the authority (and, in fact, obligation) to do is apply rules in compliance with federal law, which is exactly what he's doing. Why do you object to the attorney general complying with federal law? And what does that have to do with states acknowledging gay marriage, other than your misunderstanding of the issue at hand and/or willful attempt to conflate two different things?

Since when is SCOTUS just a 'verbal interpreter'?

Now, I really don't care about any of this. But I just find it so confusing that it seems like the justice dept is making it's own laws to follow and such.

It really seems like they are preparing to take over the country. Yea, there will be an election in 2016, they just already know what the results will be. Yea, there will be a new congress, they just will be like the fraternity that they currently are. All they do is party and act important to get sexed by whores. But no one really likes them, except for stupid whores who are attracted to power and douchbaggery.

What country do I, do you, do we live in? It certainly isn't the country of the brave. It certainly isn't the country of the free. And it isn't a country that follows the rule of law.

Maybe we are just nothing but stupid tiny little ants. Like did you see the Rover's picture of earth from Mars?

It's time to stop thinking that your important, or your life, family, or material goods. You are put of a system. A very high tech system that regulates your heart beat, regulates your thinking patterns, regulates your conversations with others, and more.

Time to wake up, and start getting real.
I would say to you it is time to grow up and get rid of the school yard language if you want to be taken serious!

What exactly is being 'looted'? (Apart from the dirt so the bar can be buried a little lower)

The Treasury is being looted.

Taxes will be raised on the young to pay for it, unless you imagine the Fed will print money for eternity.

Pay for what? The benefits that were extended already exist, nothing new was added. Some are even self-funded (immigration benefits for example). Your treasury looting comment makes no sense.

Currently the federal government has to recognize same sex marriages that are recognized in the states where they were performed. THAT is according to the supreme court findings on the DOMA case. It would take another supreme court case to overturn that case.
