I don't understand it, and I'm being taxed for the Vikings new $ 1B stadium that the owners are paying about 30% of, the public the rest.

Because 100% of their profits are passed onto the teams which is where the taxes are paid.

Making them a profitable corporation still wouldnt generate any additional revenues since once again, the profits are passed onto the teams to pay taxes.
