Did I ever say that business owners should be required to allow smoking?

In so far as drinking, it's perfectly legal in most states to drink in the vast majority of places. Business owners are free to prohibit it even where it's allowed by law.

I do. I don't want to be at my local park with my kids, while someone is screwing up the air with their cigarette smoke. That is the problem and issue. For those of us who do not smoke, its disgusting.

My mom lives in Reno, Nevada. I just came back from seeing her. I haven't been there in months. Yet, every time I go there, it is HELL. You walk into the casino and people are smoking those disgusting things every where. I have no where to go, to get away from the cigarette smoke. NO WHERE.

My clothes have that smell and I need to dry clean, and/or wash everything, the moment I get home. Why should I suffer so someone can smoke? Smoke in your own home; don't make the rest of us suffer for it.

Don't walk into the casino that allows smoking, problem solved. Is really that difficult to make a decision by yourself?

There's something about smoke that just sucks these people in I guess. They just can't help but be pulled in to places where smoking is permitted.

Then taxes will have to be raised in order to build prisons to put smokers in. This country is already the most imprisoned country on earth from people trying to tell others how to live.

Consider hiring a new accountant. The average corporate effective tax rate is about 12%.

Funny isn't it? They seem to lose the ability to make a decision on their own...

ALL casino's in Nevada allow smoking. Keep smoking. Sooner you die off, the better.

So you can drink in the streets where you live? Interesting.

Also, in Oregon a business owner can allow smoking in their establishment if they choose, there are a number of bars that have outdoor space that you are able to smoke and while drinking.

Yes, it is perfectly legal to drink in the streets here and in many other places in the US. And, where it's not allowed, it often is prohibited by a city ordinance and not state law. What's typically not allowed is taking alcohol out of a restaurant or bar and drinking it in the streets (or anywhere). That has to do with the type of liquor license the restaurant/bar has. Exceptions exist in many states if you order a bottle of wine and want to re-cork it.

Why should a bar owner have to have an outdoor space if he or she wants to allow smoking on the premises of the bar?
