When does he plan to nationalize them all so he can really be "Boss" ?

We sure are becoming a more regulated economy aren't we ?
Employers are getting the screws put to them by their government.

Is Obama getting pointers from Maduro ?

You mean Obama and co lied again? And now they have to threaten companies to just keep the employees they have.
It was supposed to create 4,000,000 new jobs, 400,000 of them INSTANTLY...

Why the need to threaten companies not to lay off? if its so stimulating to the economy one would think they wouldnt have to threaten, companies would be hiring left and right.

As a business owner, I find the need to justify anything in regards to my business strategy to others completely sad..

Makes me wonder where our country is headed to, and even worse, those who ran around calling Obama a fascist, correct..

At this point, the only people that look like bigger idiots than Obama.....

.....are the people that foolishly cling to the notion that he's a great president.

I'm quite certain that ship has sailed. More corrupt than Nixon, more inept than Carter.

This time he was too smart. Employers can't even react and adjust to this new proclamation like they did when the IRS declared 30 hours full time and employers cut hours.

From the OP link:
But the regulations also say that effective yesterday, employers may not shed employees or work hours just to get below the 100-employee threshold – and thus avoid Obamacare’s penalties for another full year.

Sounds a whole lot like we're headed to the Euro model of jobs for life once hired can't fire no matter what.
That's worked out sooo well for France as one example.
"The laws on "licenciement," as firing in France is called, are complex enough to fill a book, but in the end there are essentially four ways for an employer to deliver a pink slip. All involve time or money or both, because employees who don't want to go quietly can file a complaint with the Conseil des Prud'hommes, the court that rules on terminations.

1. Prove you can't afford the job.

Dismissing a person for economic reasons is legal but complicated. A company must be able to prove in court that eliminating the position is necessary either because of economic woes or because it is essential to remain competitive."

"If the company has more than 50 employees and wants to fire more than 10, it must create a "social plan" that includes efforts to minimize dismissals and provide for job training or other support for employees who are cut."

Sound familiar?

Read the rest and cringe:http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/28/wo...tter.html?_r=0

Kiosks, self checkouts, tablets in restaurants and 1099 workers is probably the best way to go.
The economy is stagnant and business has to be able to react to their revenue stream but this severely prevents that.

Nice con-job with the cut and snip - now read the whole passage. It refers only to employers applying for a certain tax benefit and prevents them from gaming the system to get gov't money. Employers are still free to hire and fire without IRS oversight.

Questions and Answers on Employer Shared Responsibility Provisions Under the Affordable Care Act

34. Is additional transition relief available for employers with at least 50 but fewer than 100 full-time employees (including full-time equivalents)?....

In order to be eligible for the relief, an employer must certify that it meets the following conditions:...

2) Maintenance of Workforce and Aggregate Hours of Service. During the period beginning on Febr. 9, 2014 and ending on Dec. 31, 2014, the employer may not reduce the size of its workforce or the overall hours of service of its employees in order to qualify for the transition relief. However, an employer that reduces workforce size or overall hours of service for bona fide business reasons is still eligible for the relief.
