I have zero respect for Obama, but he clearly was joking when he made that comment. Let's don't take every utterance out of context and try to make an issue over it, as the libs do...

You must not understand the english language or comedy.

In all jokes, there are little bits of truth, if not full truth, and that is what makes jokes funny.

The reason he said it, is because that is how he FEELS about his role. He didn't get that idea out of nowhere.
