South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley says she supports a proposed bill that would make it legal to carry guns without a permit or training, The State newspaper reports.

The proposed Constitutional Carry Act (S. 115) would decriminalize carrying a firearm without a permit — effectively eliminating the need for a concealed weapons license and related training — and would allow people to carry firearms either concealed or out in the open.

Well, if the people of her state approve, why not?

The bill is in line with the 2nd Amendment, which is the only permit neccesary to keep and bear arms.

I am in agreement with Haley and support this bill. We have that here in Arizona.

Agree 100%. By needing a permit, it is implied that you need "permission". Which means permission can be denied.

Second Amendment says we have a right to bear arms. So permission can never be denied, therefore no permit.

We have been able to open carry without any "training" in MS for decades. For concealed carry, we have to have a background check only. It's part of our state Constitution.
