Criminals do it everyday. So there is a problem with giving the high sign to people who follow the law that they are ok to do it themselves as well? Don't see a problem with it.

I've had a carry permit for years, and am not sure what the point of it is. In my state there is no training requirement. Even in states with a training requirement, a three hour class is not sufficient training to carry, so that is really just window dressing.

Due to the Brady Act, the vast majority of gun purchases entail a NICS background check, so why redo the same background check for the gun owner who wants to carry? Every five years I have to go into my local police station and get my permit renewed. An officer is required to take care of the paperwork. I'd rather have that officer out patrolling and arresting thieves and rapists.

Good for her! The Constitution should be the only permit needed. People that spend the money to purchase a firearm will practice to be proficient! I applaud Gov. Haley.

Second Amendment says we have a right to bear arms. So permission can never be denied, therefore no permit.
there are still restricitions. A private person, business or employer can restrict persons form carrying firearms if posted.

No, they can't.

They can only refuse you entrance to their property if they want to. For any reason, including if you are carrying a gun.

But they cannot, and do not, restrict you from carrying a gun.

Step aside Florida, South Carolina is going to make you look relatively sane.

Oh, and while you are out getting your completely unregulated gun, don't forget to take two forms of positive ID along with you so you can vote.
