I have a good feeling that China either sooner or later will have major civil disturbances. The angst from the inequality, one party rule, and corruption will spur political change.
They view government differently then we do. A LOT different. The inequality is a larger issue for them than it is for us, so I suspect you are right in some ways.
They also view the governments responsibilities differently.
Being progressive is extremist now? How far right has discourse in this country gone too where people literally believe that no capitalist countries are poor? Even true believer communists aren't THAT delusional about North Korea.
yes, "progressive" is a radical, extremist, totally irrational and all but insane religious belief.
Yes he is serious. Some of the right wing crazies think that Wikipedia is full of propaganda (you know facts etc), and the same for any fact checking site.
This is how some of the crazy sites manage to still exist-if you get paranoid enough you convince everyone that any dissenting source is lying.
You are absolutely and utterly wrong. The number of truly capitalist countries is in single digits.
Ok so when you want to prove that capitalism is a success cons say Sweden is capitalist. When they oppose universal healthcare they say they don't want to be like "socialist" Sweden.
Can their ideology be any more convenient?
But seriously dude most of the world is capitalist, ie the economy is in private hands.
Are you going to tell us that all of the third world is socialist?
Is that how bad conservative thinking had decayed to? That if the country is dirt poor its due to socialism?
No, you have to prove your assertion. And not by quoting a symbol of pop-culture ignorance.
