NO, but he is trying to get reinstated - probably with back pay.

I am sure he will end up on some police force somewhere. Seems to be the pattern.

Yes, because nothing says justice like harassing his wife and kids as well.

When cops have their personal assets at risk for police brutality their actions will change.

As it is suing a department only dings the taxpayers.

Sorry for the kids, but their father is a murderer, apparently he wasn't considering them while he beat someone to death

The people and things that are important to these thugs need to be focused on! They have no problem killing or maiming the family members of others! They have no problem killing family pets! Screw the things that are important to these punks!

Even if this monster does have a family, I'm sure they'd be safer away from him.

Well, that can work a couple of ways. First, if they don't have many assets, there is little compensation for the victim.

How it worked where I used to work was that IF you generated too many lawsuits for which your company was paying out - you would soon be finding yourself another line of work. So there was definitely pressure to follow guidelines and NOT generate lawsuits.

Our personal assets were on the line ONLY if we egregiously violated company policy and that was in addition to company dollars. Both the individual and the company could be sued.

I don't understand why that isn't happening in this situation, though.

Bad cops are doing it to them selves and the country, making the rest look bad ,and from the looks of things it is national.
destroying their place among men as a hero ,more as a thug.
