History is the best way to judge people's future actions. And given the history of gay activsts, they would be all in favor of sueing Bob and labeling him as a bigot.

Okay, so maybe the advertisements make a difference.

If Bob advertised piano accompaniment to all, but said "no" to gay people, that would be discrimination. But if Bob didn't advertise piano accompaniment and only did requests, he could say "no" to anyone.

That makes sense. I don't want people to discriminate, but I don't want people to be forced to be in situations where they would be uncomfortable either.

Well, as long as we're making generalizations, let me make one too: Bob stands by his bigoted convictions and turns away everyone who is different from him.
