Better amend the constitution. Laws are not going to cut it when you have wording that is very clear about laws regarding weapons.

The right of the PEOPLE, to KEEP and BEAR arms, shall not be infringed.

That means, we the people have the right to the same arms, that will be used to oppress us free people, to no longer be free.

Another thing the constitution is very clear on when it comes to our right to possess a weapon, it does not say keep and hide arms, shall not be infringed. I clearly says bear. Meaning open carry.
This is the basis and the wording, that led to conceal carry being illegal in the 1800's.
