Reporter enters party for "secret" Wall St fraternity and sees/hears first hand how the elites get their jollies:

"I’d heard whisperings about the existence of Kappa Beta Phi, whose members included both incredibly successful financiers (New York City's Mayor Michael Bloomberg, former Goldman Sachs chairman John Whitehead, hedge-fund billionaire Paul Tudor Jones) and incredibly unsuccessful ones (Lehman Brothers CEO Dick Fuld, Bear Stearns CEO Jimmy Cayne, former New Jersey governor and MF Global flameout Jon Corzine). It was a secret fraternity, founded at the beginning of the Great Depression, that functioned as a sort of one-percenter’s Friars Club. Each year, the group’s dinner features comedy skits, musical acts in drag, and off-color jokes, and its group’s privacy mantra is “What happens at the St. Regis stays at the St. Regis.” For eight decades, it worked. No outsider in living memory had witnessed the entire proceedings firsthand."

Hahaha, they are pulling your leg. This reads like a satanic panic story by Bob Larson or John Todd, as a parody for the tin foil hatters who believe in...well, whatever the great evil is called now. Be it New World Order, Illuminati, Nazi spaceman fro the moon, the mole people, shapeshifting lizard people...

The fraternity exists without any question unlike those other entities you mention.

The moon exists, as well as this group. Doesn't mean I believe what tin foil fans say about it.

Are you saying this reporter is making all of this up about what happened at the party?
There was nothing tin foil about reporting the off color jokes and absurd behaviors of the mega wealthy at this party.

If that is what you think this is about then I cannot help you.
The arrogance of the bankers; making fun of a dire financial crisis that ruined lives on their watch is appalling. Why all of a sudden are we cutting these guys a break?

I do not think any tin foil hattery needs to be applied here.
The reporter was simply exposing the behind closed door behavior of these ultra wealthy people. Such behavior in mocking issues that ruined people's lives and caused great harm to the Nation.

Now you have something against capitalism?
Here's a thought. How about if the government takes over the banks? Would you like that, or is it too "commie"?

Wow- you certainly know how to debate an issue.

This is not capitalism by the way. This is fraud and corruption.
