He did do the Patriot Act... and did do the unleashing of the NSA... and did do a metamorphosis of a police action into a "long" war... and did do the Part D donut hole folly...
... and did sacrifice his economic principles to save a nation (maybe a world) from financial (if not total) disaster... for that alone I commend him.

George W Bush is the greatest joke of all time as "president". But please never forget all the "good guys" who panicked and voted for that Patriot Act. I think every single person who voted Aye owes an explanation to the constituents for handing Bush the power to rule like a semi-dictator. Democrats need to look in the mirror.
