They believed that?

Lol...incredible. GM in Spring Hill gets all the incentives they want, and they're a union plant.

Wow. DUUUUUUUUUUUUH!

I wonder if German unions have the same ties with rather unsavory types, such as the Mob, as many of our unions do here in the US.

I suspect German auto unions aren't quite as adversarial as the UAW.

LOL The mob hasn't been around for quite sometime now. Keep living in the past though

You'd suspect wrong.

They can be EXTREMELY adversarial if they smell any subterfuge. And when German unions go militant, it ain't a game.

Generally though, they have labor peace. That's because Germans...employees and employers actually have a brain in their heads unlike their U.S. counterparts.

BTW...Hoffa died many moons ago dude. Let it go.

Seriously? What, they all disappeared?

Not here in NJ. Or NY. Get with the present.

You're not Italian-American, are you? If so, no offense intended

Yes, I know Hoffa died. Some say he's holding up the goal posts in Giants Stadium. Tony Pro or his heirs might know.

If you've gotta be an Italian American just to know the mob exists, then the mob is pretty feckless.

Truth be told, no one fears the Italian Mafia anymore. They've got some very muscular competition that they didn't have back in the day.

The Russians, blacks, and Latin crews don't respect them and have little to no fear of them anymore.

Unions have their place. However their power can, very easily, become abusive to both management and labor.

Doesn't that describe any boss? Of course it does.
