Unchecked corporate power is just as destructive.

Doesn't that describe any boss? Of course it does.
Perhaps, but you don't have to pay your boss to be abusive.

So it's ok to be an abusive boss no matter what? Abuse is abuse and many employees do get abused by their bosses.

Stock right winger answer: if you don't like abuse and unfair treatment, then quit or just shut up.

Just telling you ahead of time. LMAO

heh. In the good 'ol south, there are no jobs, In Tenn. you have to be white and poor to be privileged enough to work in a "right to work " (aka fire w/o cause ) state.

They pay schoolteachers 25k in Tennessee. The economy is abysmal.

Ignorance has led them to being the largest takers of WIC, and Medicaid for unmarried Appalachians, no husband or job, no income.

"And that's what I lobe about the South". an old song.

But alas...Germans aren't the same dumb goobers that we have in this country...our idiots decided to listen to Tennessee politicians that ran a campaign against union entry.

Americans just can't take yes for an answer.

It's amazing to me it was voted down, with VW being so recepetive to the idea. However, there were multiple outside lobbying groups who came into town to support the Republicans war on organized labor, and sure enough, it worked.

It's really not that hard to convince Americans to vote against their own best interests, and this vote goes to show that. I will only buy VW's built in Wolfsburg, where my current one came from.

That wasn't your question. Your question was weren't unions like any abusive boss? Yes, they are. And, as I pointed out, you don't have to pay your boss to be abusive.

Nowhere in there did I say it was "okay to be abusive" now did I? No, I did not. But you go on with your strawman, you lefties are really good at that.

Again, why on earth would I PAY for abuse when I can get that crap for free? THAT WAS THE POINT.

Pretty much. No one is forcing you to work in an environment that you feel is abusive. You have the freedom to leave and find another job. You don't need a union for that. All a union gets you is less money in your paycheck.

Unions pay better and look after their employees. Sorry you don't agree.
