The left is authoritarian, believing in all empowered government. Americanism is unique, in that it rejects the idea that government can or should have much authority AT ALL.

The Klan is irrelevant to all of this.
I'd rather quote Wikipedia than Atlas Shrugged.

I have to comment on this:

Quote:
Lerner said that career IRS staff who were reviewing applicants for tax-exempt status took a harder look at applications with "tea party" or "patriot" in their names. She stressed that the added scrutiny was done as a "shortcut," not out of "political bias."
This is the same Lois Learner who first claimed the fifth Amendment when called to account for her statements, and then resigned to avoid being compelled to speak since she had no right to claim such privilege for official acts or accountability.

If you believe the "shortcut" argument, you probably also believe that "investment" is the same taxes and spending on "green" energy, otherwise known as cronyism.

Wow, what a totally nonsensical argument.

The private sector produces wealth and excellence and efficiency.

the government does the opposite.

So?

I don't quote either as an authority. Besides, Atlas Shrugged is fiction... Frighteningly close to reality, but still fiction... at least for the moment.

That's why you vote for one of the two barely distinguishable parties while accepting that every other political idea mankind come up with is far on the margin silenced by the corporate owned media? Yup, you are the freest. USA, USA, USA ... land of the lemmings indeed.

And I was agreeing there but yet you felt you had to take a swipe anyway.

Your argument consisted of some ideological rhetoric that has no meaning, since it does not address any reality.
