Wrong.

You don't know what capitalism is.

Which, as it appears, seems to be case with most arguments put forth in this thread against progressiveism.

If you believe the "shortcut" argument, you probably also believe that "investment" is the same taxes and spending on "green" energy, otherwise known as cronyism.
LOL, and you said i would be the one to question the legitimacy of the source.

No, it's just your argument.

Reality is vastly different.

Sure. Is that why most rich countries on the planet like UK, CAnada, Australia, Germany, Sweden are liberal while most real life ratholes of africa and south america are conservative. Do you ever think before you open your mouth or one thing precludes the other?

Not particularly.

I mean, anyone who honestly states that the democrat party is "far left" has no grounding in reality whatsoever.

???? Do you have some point?

I haven't said anything you don't know and isn't factual about the IRS scandal, but you have consistently denied the truth. Can you explain why?

Again, i was not taking a swipe. I read your post, i felt you didnt realize why he thought you would be against gay marriage so i simply pointed it out.

As i demonstrated in earlier post, when i dont understand why someone said something, i ask.

further more, you still side stepped what you said earlier. You called me a bigot for posting a fact.

You either didnt know it was a fact, or you were frustrated and just lashed out.

Lol. The guy talked about Germany, Sweden or France and you come back with the criticism of USSR ?
What has one thing to the other? Lol

By the way Ayn Rand writing are so naive and dated that its simply embarrassing to bring them up.

It is utterly impossible for progressivism to be sustained. Like the former USSR, when nobody is incentivized to produce wealth, eventually, all but the elites starve and suffer greatly. Progressivism, by nature, is designed to remove the risk of being unproductive by confiscating from those that still are. This causes an incentive to NOT work any longer, and the more people stop working and producing, the larger the burden and confiscation from those that do, steepening the collapse curve.

As the article points out, it is more about changing the culture -to one of entitlement and governments that engage in "end run" moves meant to shore up appearances for expediency's sake - that result in eventual collapse as they consume all resources in an attempt maintain the appearance they want.

Perhaps you should read Atlas Shrugged for a description of the "progressive" world - one where NOTHING WORKS.
