This, plus possibly inflexibility in regards to changing one's views/beliefs even when new evidence arises/is presented.
All it took was evolution in the title to make you think the problem was religious people instead of some kid being raised without a dad by a crack-head mom or whatever.
Tell you what kiddo....go ask a teacher or so that you know and ask them whom the least educated kids are in their class about stuff like this.
I have a number of teachers in my family, I already know the answer while you are uninformed, kinda like the people in the poll.
If someone where to ask me, I'd also say "nope" to the question about the earth revolving around the sun (because it doesn't). Of course, the media would paint this as a bad thing. Gotta love the media. Always looking for the the next great headline.
Here lies basic education. RIP.
Wallow! Wallow in that ignorance! Flat earthers unite!

Where did you ever get the idea that the earth doesn't revolve around the sun?

Actually, the Earth does revolve around the sun. As do all the other planets. What gives you the mistaken impression that is not the case?
Actually, the Earth is not moving anywhere, except around the sun. It is the sun, and by extension the rest of the solar system, that is moving toward Vega in the constellation Hercules at a rate of ~19.7 km/s.

Our Solar system is revolving around the center of our galaxy which is moving toward the Andromeda Galaxy.

Let me know when we get there.
Still things always seem brighter to me when the Sun is in Pisces.
I hope Orion doesn't take his belt to me for that.

Close enough. Actually, the solar system revolves around the barycenter of the Milky Way galaxy. The planet Earth also revolves around the common barycenter created by the sun and Earth. However, since both the galactic barycenter is so close to the super massive black hole in the center of the galaxy, and the solar barycenter is so close to the sun, it is acceptable to say that the solar system revolves around the super massive black hole, or that Earth revolves around the sun. Even though it is not technically accurate.

Yeah close enough considering we are talking about people that still think our sun revolves around Earth and I guess so does the rest of the universe.
