It's envy. Go into most rural counties. See firsthand homes that look like they are barely better than shanties, check out their college grad rates, median income, unemployment rates, and meth use rates.

They are little different than they were when RFK toured such 3rd world slums in America over a half century ago.

The far right has always chosen religion over intellect, and they really are no different than those in Third World countries all over the Middle East.

You want to see real far right anti intellectualism on display, ask them about climate change. They despise science.
