The thumpers are running amok in this forum today. Must have gotten a nice hateful sermon in church this morning to fire 'em up.

Another gay thread..... I just don't have the energy anymore. Why do we have so many?

I want to talk about the economy, that's more important. And more interesting quite frankly.

This is exactly why I can't stand people like the OP. They use their faith to argue all their points not taking into consideration many people are of a different faith, religion etc. How can you argue that being gay is a sin to somebody like myself who believes that as long as you are a good person and treat others with respect and make the people in your life happy, you are hardly a sinner.

Because this forum is one of the last refuges of the Tea Party.

The only gays who are worried about sin are fundamentalists (of any religion, but of course mostly Christian here). The OP probably talked to one of those after a sermon, when she was all stoked up.

Is there really even a point to this discussion other than flamebaiting?

I don't need to. Others on here have already admitted it is a sin. I am just repeating what I have been told.
