NRA has been working overtime putting the fear of confiscation in people. I am a member, so I am not making this up.

Confiscation has taken place frequently historically. The NRA is just telling the truth. It is those on the left who insist that nobody wants to take away anyone's guns who are trying to distort. Remember Dianne Feinstein's famous gaffe where she, in a moment of weakness, spilled the beans.

Your a member of the NRA is like saying Micheal Moore is a life member also. LMAO So freaking what? The NRA is not putting fear into anyone, they are doing nothing but reacting to the calls by the left for gun bans, magazine bans, registration, back ground checks and repeals of laws that allow people to defend themself. If you don't like the NRA surrender your membership or quit whining like a baby about it.

I'm a member too, and I am convinced that the danger of confiscation is very real.

NRA is doing what their mission statement dictates, and I am more than ok with it. My post was in reply to someone claiming NRA is doing nothing about it, because they are doing everything they can about it, and I am not saying it is wrong.

The big problem is that these so called laws the democrats want to pass dont do anything to prevent criminals from buying guns etc and they dont see that it infringes on our rights or they just dont give a ****.

For example here in NJ , one of the mayors wants to raise the sales tax to 50% on any gun ammo purchases.
Also they wanted to try and pass a law so that if your a gun owner it is marked on your drivers license , but yet we have a system in place already for the fire arms ID cards which in order to obtain one you need to pass a background check criminal and mental , electronic finger prints , and 2 non family member sources.

So when i see politicians trying to pass laws like this, thats a huge red flag to me and indicates they want more money for themselves and want to law abiding citizen to suffer and give up their rights.

We are not taking your rights to a gun, you can have your single shot 22 rifle.

When you fear your government there is tyranny(look around today... The majority fear their government)
When the government fears the people, there is liberty(not much of that happening today, with people so scared the government will come and get them in a no-knock raid)
