From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences and tendencies prove that to insure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable … the very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference – they deserve a place of honor with all that is good.

2013 was a good year for the grabbers, but so far this year, the courts are knocking their anti constitutional dictatorship asses back.

Glad you agree, a gun is the best defense against tyrants and their possession of a gun.

Where gun ownership is the highest, crime rates are the lowest.

So why doesn't the US have one of the lowest crime rate since they have one of the highest ownership rates per capita.

If that were true Somalia and the Sudan would have a low crime rate.

He wrote "ownership" as in bought, paid for legally. Owning a gun and possessing a gun aren't the same.

I`m trying to see what point you`re making. If guns keep people safe what difference does it make in how they were obtained? After all, isn`t all that paper work and background checking unconstitutional? My gun loving friends believe guns should be sold in vending machines.
