This bill was passed by your party and signed by your president. Whine all you want to, but it is what it is.
Had this president done what he said he was going to do by cutting much waste out of Medicare, we would be in far better shape. But, I have been on the planet a long time and witnessed your DNC using the elderly for votes for decades by promising more and more Medicare perks, like endless knee and hip replacements, endless motorized scooters etc. Your party is the one responsible for this bloated mess. The GOP were the evil ones as depicted by the DNC as wanting to get rid of it. So what is it you want again......If you do not get rid of it or at least overhaul it then you youngsters have to pay for it.
Yeah.."we're going to cut waste" and instead they cut reimbursements.
I guess paying the doctors and hospitals is waste ?

Republicans have quietly morphed into the party of entitlements since 2010 running to the left of Democrats complaining about the cuts to Medicare Part C when they also supported the cuts.
I think most of the Tea Party types on Medicare actually think they are paying for all of their health care with their $133 monthly payment and past payroll contributions. They love to complain about the ACA meanwhile they are pulling out three times what they put into Medicare. Young people will pay $240 billion out of general revenues or maybe borrowing from China to cover Medicare this year. So much for the thrifty Tea Party types.
I think you spend far too much time thinking about what others think about in order to hate them.
Why would we be borrowing from China to cover it? ACA is supposed to generate $1 TRILLION surplus over the next decade.
Why do you spend so much time ragging on those on medicare, medicaid etc, on one posting and then on the very next one, celebrate policies which make these handouts available.
Your postings flip flop faster than a dying fish.. Anything to hate..
He's an able-bodied welfare leech looking for handouts.

Attack the messenger not the message.
Republicans are bringing back their Democrats are cutting Medicare which worked in 2010 and Romney tried in 2012. Now its back in 2014.

so you were not and currently are not in favor of the ACA; is this correct?
Yes and 81% are getting subsidies and paying less than they would have without the ACA. The average family subsidy is approximately $2600 per year. I guess if you are a Republican you might call it a tax credit and note people are keeping their money. I am not sure why conservatives-Tea Party types think young people are getting screwed? You might think they have a better plan.
Heres an article from Avik Roy over at Forbes pointing out that the ACA isnt going to be going into a death spiral anytime soon.
Getting the government involved in the healthcare industry is not what I would call a good idea. Obama is in bed with the insurance companies and you know it.

Life is good, cheap Medicare, moderate Social Security check, nice retirement check from my employer. My investments did fairly well. Yes, life is truly good.

btw, everyone knew that many older people and those with pre-existing conditions would be winners. What took so many people by surprise is how many millions of people would be losers.
