Good starter list. I'm sure there's dozens more phony hate crimes that have been buried by the mainstream media.

What they all have in common is that they were all perpetrated by liberals/progressives/Democrats/Leftists.

I knew it wasn't real the second I read the article. I don't know why people do these things but whatever, I tend to now suspect the story rather than believe it outright.

Why do these people do these hoaxes? I remember hearing about a lesbian women who worked at a restaurant in California (I think) who claimed she received a homophobic letter from a religious couple who wrote on the check '' I can't tip you because you're gay '' or something along those lines .... Well it turned out that the whole thing was fake and that the religious couple did in fact tip her. Then there was the woman who lost her gay son (Shepard I think) and said he was killed because he was gay, but he was actually killed trying to buy drugs.

I don't understand why gay people and their supporters feel the need to lie. Guess it's an easier weapon than the truth to push an agenda with. Also don't understand why they call anyone a homophobe simply for not supporting gay marriage or homosexuality. That doesn't mean someone automatically hates gay people. How ironic that they say they're open minded when in reality they are some of the most closed minded people alive.

Are you effing kidding me? During the trial, Matthew's killers tried to use a "gay panic" defense, and claim they were temporarily driven insane by his sexual advances. His attackers also pretended to be gay in the first place in order to gain his trust and rob him. This was all corroborated by the girlfriends of the attackers.

If you think that one, poorly sourced book by that Jimenez guy is somehow evidence to the contrary, you should do yourself a favor and read the scathing takedowns of same, which call the book laughable, poorly sourced and which even police sources cited within same take issue!

The Sleuth - Virginia Foxx: Matthew Shepard's Murder Not a Hate Crime

For TrimT77

Of course it's sad that he was murdered, however the real evidence points to drugs.

I do support the Matthew Shepard bill that came from this.

So basically, "I don't hate you, I just don't think you should have the same legal protections that I have."

Marriage has legal protections, by denying marriage to me, you are denying me legal protections. But you don't hate me, so it's ok.
