Republican Texas gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott this week said that a Tuesday event with Ted Nugent would go on, even after Democrats reminded him of the conservative rocker’s admitted history of sexual relationships with underage girls.

The Dallas Morning News noted on Monday that Abbott had campaigned on his record of protecting women against Internet predators as attorney general, but refused to cancel a Tuesday appearance with Nugent, who admitted in a 1998 VH1 documentary that he had a history with young girls.

Garcia said it was inappropriate for Abbott to appear with someone who has

Way to appeal to female voters! The GOP is stupid beyond belief!

As opposed to Abortion Barbie...the flip-flopping, pro-abortion, lying, adultrous ditz who willingly gave up custody of her own kids because she didn't have time for them? Because, you know, that's how normal mother's act. They pawn off kids to a guy that isn't even the biological father in order to build a career (at his expense).

Ted Nugent is not a candidate. Abortion Barbie Wendy Davis is.

What do you have to say about that?

Yeah. Personally I think Bill's cigar tube polka in the White House was kinda worse than anything Uncle Ted ever did.
At least Ted can chalk it up to the rocker lifestyle.

Bill Clinton soiled the office of the President, both figuratively and literally, and Liberal's practically worship the guy.

You can always count on our resident cons to excuse the behavior of their heroes by whining, "But Mommy, Billy did it toooooooo!"

Naturally that makes it all OK.

I'm pro-choice.
Adultery isn't a crime.
Nugent also gave up some of his many kids for adoption, pawning them off. Is that how fathers act? Why should mothers be held up to a different standard?

The GOP keeps touting itself as the party of morals and family values, and is anything but.
At least the left doesn't go around proclaiming how moral they are, then turn around and do the opposite.

First of all, I don't personally know any Conservatives who "go around procIaiming how moral they are"
Secondly, As others have noted, Ted Nugent is not a candidate .... Or a former president.

Wendy is a candidate.

Slick Willy was a president.

You don't think the people we elect to public office should be held to a different standard than a rock star?

No, of course not.
Preserving and protecting traditional marriage is the very first thing in their Platform.
Renewing American Values - GOP

Meanwhile, they're running around, cheating on their third wives and picking up young men on the internet.
