The Danes like to stun the livestock before slaughter. They claim its more humane. As a matter of fact Europe claims the same thing except most of Europe will allow exemptions for religious reasons. Halal and kosher is the animal has to be awake for slaughter.

Denmark said animal rights trump religious rights. Muslims and Jews are up in arms. Denmark told them to stuff it.
