Boy if this picture does not sum it all up, I do not know what does.
They are people over there fighting for us. They are not a number or stastic they are fellow Americans fighting for freedom and the saftey of every American.
Please give thanks for them everyday. They deserve it and more!
GOD Bless All of our Soldiers!
agreed Bush should ask his wealthy friends and oil companies and defense companies who profited from the war to pay more in taxes so they can get the care they need
ON THE fourth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, one of the lasting images for Americans remains the squalid conditions at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Who can forget the pictures of soldiers recently returned from the battle, trying to recover from horrific wounds while forced to keep fighting against dirt, mold, and bureaucracy?
The seeds of the Walter Reed scandal were sown in weak leadership, heavy reliance on outside contractors, and a failure to foresee the sheer number and severity of casualties. But the real culprit lies in a lack of trust between the Pentagon and the Department of Veterans Affairs. When a soldier is injured, the military decides whether he or she is fit to return to duty. If not, a second level of evaluation determines just how unfit he is. Soldiers awaiting this second level evaluation -- including those at the Walter Reed outpatient clinic and scores of other military bases -- are often trapped in limbo between military and veteran status.

There is no reason they should have such awful care. My Uncles both had cancer I believe from agent orange when they were in the service and the care they got from the veterans hospital was not that good I have to say.
When illegals can get better care than our soldiers that is wrong! They say there is no money well cut off medical to illegals and there will be allot of x-tra money they Gov could apply to the Veterans hospitals and others.
I support them for doing what they believe is right and serving in the military. However, I don't see how they are fighting for our freedom over there.
