Don't confuse the Recovery Act (stimulus) with the bailouts. Are you defending the bailouts and/or the stimulus?
You think the stimulus saved the economy but the bailouts had no impact?
One of the things you listed was saving the car industry, something OBAMA says he did, while you listed Bush spending responsible for it (which is factual)..
btw, I didnt support either. Not sure how me stating a fact has you beleve I've defended either.
Sam's Club (owned by Walmart) pays less than Costco.
I know someone who works at Sams Club, when I suggested she put in an application to work at a planned Costco opening here, she laughed cause she's making amost $15 an hour..
You betcha. It's every man for himself in this world.
That does not surprise me, coming from you.
The funny thing is, you're the same guy who has made tons of whiny posts under your other names complaining that you can't find a job at a decent wage.
But that doesn't surprise me either, considering that your premise for this thread is completely made up.
Challenge: Prove that " the left" is any more anti Walmart than any other faction of the country.

Yes indeed, all retail employees start at the same pay, $11 +/- an hour, at Costco, regardless of experience.
Average hourly rate at Sam's Club is $12.83+/- hr.
Average hourly rate at Walmart is $8.81+/- hr.
Average hourly rate at Costco is $21.96 /hr.
Each company employs a different business model.
That's their choice.
GAP/Old Navy/Banana Republic announced it is raising starting wage to $9/hr. this year and $10 in 2015.
Americans are by far the most generous people on this planet.
Americans voluntarily donate far more to charities all over the world; other countries, especially in Europe but also the Far East, can't get voluntary donations on any respectable amount so their embarrassed governments raise taxes and then handle relief and charity operations. No choice.
Americans have fought and died all over the world to save oppressed peoples; even an anti-war anti-American traitor should be reluctant to condemn how we rescued Europe, for example. I like Ike.
We built and funded the UN in an effort to drag the rest of the selfish world along.
Don't tell me that Americans are the most selfish people in the world unless you have the guts to do so standing in Arlington cemetery.
Shame on you.
Amen, and try finding another nation that has been on the winning side of wars, and has voluntarily, handed back the land and liberty to the nations they helped defeat.
What other nation is there that helps its enemies after an earthquake strikes them? And whom else , after offering aid, asks NOTHING in return?
Amen. Chinese factories offer a better life there than Rice paddies circa 1973.
This. When the anti-Walmart crowd whines about the factories nonstop, they fail to realize that working at the factories is preferable to the alternatives for the workers.
May people who continue to buy crap from China will soon end up asking, "Do you prefer paper or plastic'
