I guess he hasn't read that part of the Constitution that starts with "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion..."

Just curious. Why do you keep using word "putative". Do you think it has a negative connotation?

Huh, I thought this was the party that championed the constitution while they claim Democrats hate it.

No worries for this guy though, his voters have drunk deep of the Kool-Aid and won't care what he does.

my guess is he represents his voters who put him in office. just like Obama using president temporary orders ;really.

We are nation that is FREE to practice our religion. If someone doesn't like an elected official overtly relying on their religious values in deciding their voting record, then they should not vote for them.

Really nothing wrong here.

Paul Broun....isn't he the whack-job who said that the sciences of embryology and evolution are lies straight from the pits of hell?
It went over so well that 5,000 voters in his district wrote-in Charles Darwin as a candidate.
