I laugh my ass off how libs spew hate at somebody that joins a union to support their family, and 5 seconds later hugs a lazy mofo that won't get up off the couch that lives off welfare.
WTH?

Do any unions donate their coerced DUES money to Republicans?

If not, why should a Republican join an organization where part of his paycheck will be sent to support politicans he doesn't agree with?

Um, find another job? That's what most Republicans would say, right?

In reality, though, membership to the union isn't technically required - even for us local government workers. I have the right to waive membership, they just subtly "urge" you not to do so. I usually take the passive-aggressive route, by deciding to be a "non-voting member." Basically that means I pay lower dues, and get the same basic benefits, but forfeit my ability to vote in our elections. I don't think my current job had that option, but in the past that is what I've chosen to do.

What "libs" are doing that? I thought the liberals were supposed to love unions? Sheesh, I can't keep all the broad and conflicting generalizations straight anymore... pretty soon you'll have to start sending us behavioral handbooks, LOL.

They join because they want the wages and benefits that the union negotiated for their members but they don`t want to pay the union dues. Republican entitlement mentality.

Common sense says don't send money to politicians who threaten your livelihood. Common sense also says don't vote for those same people, but Republicans are not known for common sense.
