Free Market = GOOD
Corporate Domination = BAD

Too bad... our government is colluding with these dominators to control every aspect of our lives.
Isn't domination a result of poorly-informed consensual exchange?

What's the first step in caring? As I said, I'm not particularly attached to your ideology. If it produces superiour results, great. If not, do something else.

Since every aspect of your life is controlled by government, which department is forcing you to post here?

Why do you and your Leftist pals still buy into this hoax? There are no rising sea levels!!!

Baloney! God did not give man the power to alter the climate. Period. Do you understand how much crap one volcano can dump into the atmosphere? Yet there is no evidence that any volcano ever altered the climate.

Have you been living on another planet? Check out the Toba eruption.

The Toba eruption apparently coincided with the onset of the last glacial period. Michael L. Rampino and Stephen Self argue that the eruption caused a "brief, dramatic cooling or 'volcanic winter'", which resulted in a drop of the global mean surface temperature by 3–5 °C and accelerated the transition from warm to cold temperatures of the last glacial cycle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toba_catastrophe_theory

Why do you want to alter it? What if you make it even worse? Or is that possibility outside of your SiFi fantasy?

Man made global warming is expected to raise the Earths (average) temperature 4-6 degrees in the next 100 years, and in (some) areas these temperature increases could be over 10 degrees. These temperature changes could destroy our best farmland, destroy our best grazing pastures, cause plants/animals to move to new environments, ex.ex. x 100.

The Earths temperature changed in the past several times, and when it did huge numbers of plants and animals went extinct

Global warming is a serious danger to this planet. And before you talk about how its OK to raise this planets temperature, you should have at least (some) knowledge of the following things.

1. Past temperature changes on planet Earth (and what caused them.)
2. The numbers of plants and animals that went extinct during these temperature changes.
3. The "greenhouse effect."
4. The amount of greenhouse gases released by humans each year.
5. Farming and livestock production.
ex.ex.ex.

Not sure if srs...

That said, the volcanic activity that changed climate was either from a super volcano or a large number of constantly erupting volcanoes. Not to mention it was all a long time ago, long before the written word. And strong volcanoes can take away summer for a year or two.

And humans certainly can change climate, just by merely paving a road. There is a reason for the Urban Island effect.
