Don't report your gun being stolen. Why wouldn't you? (Congress, accuse, military)

And if someone steals your car, crashes it into someone else killing the occupants, you are responsible for murder.
1) Cars are not often used as a primary tool for homicide
2) if you leave your car unlocked/unsecured/engine running - maybe you are in some ways a accomplice
Guns are not cars though. . that should be obvious. You steal a car to drive somewhere
I agree completely. Even my driver's license does not include my physical address. Any moron stupid enough to register their firearm, or report it stolen to the police, is just asking to have it taken from them.
Why would you have your legally owned firearm taken from you if it were stolen and then recovered.
Do you care if they get it back? No, neither do I, it's none of my business.
You don't know at all what i care and don't care about. When a firearm gets stolen around me i want to know if that has became a dangerous item because of who has it(the thief).

So do somehow get all the police reports of all the crimes in your area?
You see, people now a days have this thing called a car. What this car allows them to do is move quickly from one area to another. So someone could in fact break into someone's home and steal something, then they can go to another place really quickly. So, if your neighbor had a gun stollen, the person who stole the gun probably isn't anywhere near you.

Maybe you should mind your own business.
You have no right to tell me to do anything.. Go to another thread if you don't like what i say. You are just generalizing. Guns don't always leave the neighborhood. I can imagine a scenario of a neighbor getting his guns stolen by the meth head son of the people down the street. Those guns WILL be around until he sells them or uses them to rob the next guy in our neighborhood. etc. Watching the news and seeing my neighbors house got robbed and their guns got stolen is not getting into someone else's business.PS Spell check is your friend.

Like you can do something about it? Oh yeah, you are going to check all the tree houses in the neighborhood.
