when a police man stops you does not make sense to reach into the bed of a truck to get a stick? i mean without saying something? i have read lots of CDF posts, if i knew nothing about white cops and i was black, i would not jump out of my truck and grab a stick when one approached me and i am about his age too.
Thanks for posting this tip. As I also use a cane. A good stop is one in which no one is shot. And that can be a challenge with some of these officers. But such things make me wonder if I should spray paint my canes with the bright orange or yellow reflective paint?

Why would he have his cane in the bed of the truck and not beside him. And why wouldn't he just tell the cop that he was getting his cane? Cops are not mind readers.
