The identification came from a poll of people who were buying bitcoins, and users of the forums.

They posted the information without an issue...it's not made up....

I think 120 people is too small of a sample to make inferences, but it's that persons opinion. I don't see why you are so mad.

Missed the part in the survey where they polled race and political affiliation.

LOL! Don't worry. Nothing in Thinkprogress is true or sane.

Sorry, there is more than one survey. That was just the most recent. This one surveyed 2,317 people.

This is all in your link, did you not even to bother to read it besides the headline before seeing red?

Do you care about honesty or just getting angry?

I think bitcoin is excellent because it shows the true nature of unregulated banking and exchanges. No real rules, no real punishments for stealing other then the private justice of hit teams and gang enforcers, no legal recourse. A bank shutting down and stealing $300 million in deposits...just a risk of business.

I think that if folks want to live in that world it should be allowed.

Why is that? Because it isn't conservative?

That publication lacks the word "bitcoin" or "crypto" in its contents.

Got anything else? I eagerly want to check my white privilege, but just don't know how I should do so yet. Please offer guidance.

We already are. Trillions given away and the bill given to taxpayers. Seen anybody locked up for that? Madoff just wasn't big enough. It's not unregulated and they have been punishing plenty. Hit teams, gang enforcers? What are you talking about?
