Science is supposed to be an objective investigation but it seems many of these frauds called scientists are researching towards a conclusion they've already formed.

Oh no...According to our socialist leader the science is settled.

Wish our research group could've gotten funding as easily as these pseudo-scientists could.

Pseudo Scientists get their funding from Exxon and other oil giants and industry, even tobacco companies such as Philip Morris have funded the pseudo scientific rubbish.

In terms of the Royal Society and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, they are among the preeminent scientific organisations in the world and have had many of the greatest scientists ever to have lived as Fellows. So I would not dismiss their research lightly.

Just wish my dissertation committee was as easy as theirs was.

Our research wasn't as sexy. AI based educational systems are harder to sell than "ZOMG the climate is changing and we're all going to die!"

Oh, you can, you can...Scientists and economists have been offered $10,000 each by a lobby group funded by one of the world's largest oil companies to undermine a major climate change report due to be published today. Scientists offered cash to dispute climate study | Environment | The Guardian Oh wait, this isn't funding, it's just a bribe offer from big oil....Sorry.

Check this out, it might reinforce your opinion that science is not as pure of heart as even we may have thought.

How computer-generated fake papers are flooding academia | Science | The Guardian

The students wrote a simple computer program that churned out gobbledegook and presented it as an academic paper. They put their names on one of the papers, sent it to a conference, and promptly had it accepted. The sting, in 2005, revealed a farce that lay at the heart of science.

Academics are under intense pressure to publish, conferences and journals want to turn their papers into profits, and universities want them published. "This ought to be a shock to people," Krohn said. "There's this whole academic underground where everyone seems to benefit, but they are wasting time and money and adding nothing to science. The institutions are being ripped off, because they pay publishers huge subscriptions for this stuff."

and then there is the man-made global warming circle on incestuousness, where:

1. a politician asks for campaign donations from a corporation, in return for millions in free taxpayer green energy grants

2. Corporation takes grants, donates to politician's campaign and non-profit groups that support the candidate, and awards money to a research company to prove man-made global warming

3. research company produces bogus data and research papers that keeps the scam alive, politician wins election, asks corporation for campaign donations, rinse, repeat

The beauty is, it's all funded by taxpayers, and the money just keeps flowing in a circle of greed.

There is no way an oil company can compete with the bottomless government's pockets full of free taxpayer money.

Since you did not read your source, I will post a excerpt from it bellow.

"A build-up of greenhouse gases from human activities, mainly the burning of fossil fuels, is warming the atmosphere and the oceans, raising sea levels and melting Arctic ice, the report said, supporting the long-held view of a U.N. panel of climate scientists."

"It projected that temperatures would rise by between 2.6 and 4.8 Celsius (4.7-8.6 F) by 2100 unless governments took strong action to limit rising emissions of greenhouse gases, broadly in line with U.N. estimates."

The authors of your source believe in man made global warming (just like 97% of climate scientists do.)
