Well it was soon to be destroyed in the opposite direction under such pro Gov growth mentality....The current state of the economy is a sham. You want to ignore the private sector boom under bush after 9/11....the real estate boom was good for many....good for us.

I'm on my cell phone and I'm not so good with links. I should provide them and normally would. Its not hard to look up the bail out history though. It was initially defeated. Wall Street threw a hissy fit and D.C. cowared down and relented.

They then went after Robert Bennett (R) who was the highest ranking (R) member of the banking commission and defeated him. Rightly so.
