False, as I've already posted.

I'm interested why so many seem to think that is true. Ignorance? Inferior education? What?

Is that a joke? Biden just went on The View and told women they can quit their "dead end jobs" to stay home and raise their kids and taxpayers would pay for their insurance. Dems think women have menial dead end jobs, and should stay home barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen.

Is this even a serious question?

Of course racism against black people is worse, and it manifests in ways too numerous to count. It is visible in the higher rates of black unemployment. It is visible in the huge disparity between black and white net worth. It is visible in rates of residential segregation. It is visible in rates of school segregation. It is visible in the disparate administration of criminal justice. It is visible in disparste health outcomes. Entire books have been written about these issues. The list is endless.

Broadly speaking, these vast inequalities between blacks and whites in US society really only have two possible explanations:

1) Whites tend to do better than blacks because of systemic inequalities that limit opportunities for blacks and diminish their likelihood of succeeding in life.

2) Whites tend to better than blacks because they are racially superior.

There really is no third option. And frankly, option 2 is the one most whites seem to believe. Even mention racism, and most whites just roll their eyes. They just don't believe racism exists; they only believe "reverse racism" exists.

60 or 70 years ago, whites claimed blacks were inferior because of their genes. Today, whites claim blacks are inferior because of their culture. It is just the same racist wine poured into new bottles.

Uh; culture ain't race. Sheesh!

Just like a PWT "hillbilly" doesn't have the same culture as a rich anglo white dude in Beverly Hills but they're BOTH the SAME "race".

What I meant was that to the racist imagination, "culture" is now imagined the same ways genes were once imagined.

It was once deemed pointless to try to redress racial inequalities, because those inequalities were seen as manifestations of inherent genetic differences. Nowadays, people object to trying to redress racial inequalities on the grounds that unless blacks "straighten out their culture," nothing will change. It is the same argument. It just substitutes culture for genes.

I don't think that there is really that much racism in our society today, it's just overblown by the media and special interest groups and their respective parasites, such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Race baiting is a very profitable business.

I do think white people are misrepresented by the media. It's always on the news when a white person kills a black person, and people instantly jump to unfair conclusions of racism though that might not necessarily be the case. If it's a black person killing a white person, or a black person killing another black person (something that happens everyday mind you) no one seems to care. The media ignores it completely.

Stop listening to the media, they're the main problem. Disown the race baiters like Jesse Jackson, and learn to see each other as fellow human beings and not as different races. It's a completely man made construct that needs to be broken down. We need to live in a color blind society.

Well; it's the TRUTH that many parts of "Black" culture need to go away like being put down for "acting white" as in talking proper and taking care of business. Many Black and white people don't wanna accept that Ms Parks, Dr King and so on put their lives ON THE LINE so Black people would have the SAME rights as the rest of us in the US not that long ago. Sheesh!

remember, the white who killed davis got a hung trial on the murder 1 charge. 9 of the 12 wanted it, but it was the 3 white conservative males on the jury who let the white off. even though he's gone for life on other charges, he will likely never get the murder 1 or 2 for killing davis.

i expect the white cop in nc who killed ferrell to get off too, even though the other cops said he had no reason to shoot ferrell.
You mean a jury found Zimmerman not guilty, and Davis hung on one charge? And none of those had anything to do with race.

I know, that's why I said those things are racist perceptions against blacks.

This should not even be up for discussion. I didn't read the thread but anyone with common sense knows that Whites have all the power in this country. A black person can be a total ******* to a white person but that does not make him/her racist. Maybe just an ******* in this case. Think about who runs the country and all of the corporations. NOT people of color. Yes, there will be one here and there but the majority of whites are in charge. I just don't understand why a White person would think a Black person has more sway and power in our society. Where is this coming from exactly??? Makes no sense.
