I'm a Liberal and I do not want to start war with Russia nor threaten Russia with war.

Speaking for the liberal consensus, no liberals want US troops in the Ukraine.

However I have heard rightwingers (beyond conservative) saying there should be limited nuclear strikes against Moscow etc.

Apparently they've never heard of Mutual Assured Destruction.

The question is totally unrealistic...to send American troops into the Ukraine would be considered an invasion of Russia...it would never happen...It would be like the Russians sending in their troops into Texas....there would be a blood bath. Liberals and conservatives are out of touch with the goings on in other nations...America is famous for it's intentional ignorance of foreign affairs...I would say that 90 per cent of Americans including their leadership do not have a clue what the Ukraine is...the fools think it is some separate nation....The Ukraine is the mother of Russian culture...It is like Russia taking care of business....getting their Ukrainian brothers back in line after being duped and seduced with visions of sugar plumbs by the EU....American leaders were hasty to bomb the crap out of Iraq...they took their time because most did not know where it was on the map.

What part of Ukraine is an independent nation do you not get? Ukraine is nothing like Texas, because it's not a State or Province of Russia. It was part of the USSR, but incase you're behind the times, the USSR broke up awhile ago.
