No, but certainly a man of his talent could figure out that there are other responses between a conference call and war, could he not?

Responses to the Russians fortifying the area around their military bases, in the middle of a revolution?

I don't think that was even worth a conference call.

Honestly the US and the EU are only geared towards fighting small rouge nations. Georgia shouldn't have over reached...

Until further evidence rolls in, I will certainly assume this; but even if he seized the entire Ukraine, it's not worth a world war.

I consider evidence based on the big picture of how Mr. Putin has acted, not simply a focus on one "fortification.," but I haven't heard anyone advocate war, so that's a bit of a red herring.
