BS. Russians are positively afraid of monolithic Chechen groups living among Russians. Chechen ruthlessness is derived from the knowledge that entire group is watching each member' back. Atomized Russians don't give a flying crap about each other to help and that's why they are afraid (very afraid) of this sometimes aggressive minority.

I tend to agree here. My wife has been following all this since the school slaughter and it is very much more complex than just go bomb everybody. It seems to me though in this instance folks are just fed up........Russia needs to step away IMO. We do to. Let em hash it out.

Invading, splitting and annexing another country in self-defense... that reminds me the events that lead to WWII. Putin has good teachers. So much for the self-proclaimed "anti-fascist" nation. Right or wrong, forced annexation undermines entire post WWII stability and opens Pandora' box of endless wars.
We`re not the bad guy here but we`ve been the bad guy more than once. Most of our allies tried to dissuade us from our lraq adventure did they not? All they got was insults and all we got was body bags and a trillion dollars of debt...and counting.
The world is alot more scared of the Anglo alliance than Russia.
