Putin sees ‘no need’ for military force in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin on Tuesday appeared to step back from the brink of confrontation with the west when he told a televised news conference that tensions that could have led to military intervention in Ukraine had “dissipated”.
Are you happy, or disappointed about this?

Jimmy Carter ( another Democrat who was a miserable failure as president ) tried to teach Russia a lesson with embargos.

All the Russian grain embargo did was help collapse the farm economy.
Land prices crashed similar to the housing collapse.

To this day the name............"Jimmy Carter".........is a swear word to many grain farmers in the Midwest.

China has surpassed Russia in grain imports.

There seems to be a pathological need to have a perpetual enemy. No matter what McCain says and CNN and FOX have been parroting the last couple of days, there will be no WWIII from this.

Putin is not going to attack Poland or any other NATO member. And his romp in Ukraine will come to an end (excluding Crimea) once the EU, US and Switzerland block access to the bank accounts of Russian Oligarchs. They keep a vast majority of their money in Dollars, Euros and Franks and will drop support for Putin faster than a hot halupki once their assets are frozen.

Useful idiots abound. First thing you instill in them is hate and you make sure their minds are clouded with emotionalism. My dad was a Red Army Captain and his job was to fill the minds of young men with communist doctrine...Not that he believed in it..He did it to survive. Point being, this mess in the Ukraine is all about emotion...and emotion is the tool of despots.
I'm thinking that's what USAID and NED do.

STOCK MARKETS? That is actually an absurd and parasitic thing. People who have money "invest" hoping to make more money simply in the fact that they have money. Those who thrive off of the market actually contribute nothing and create nothing. "Share holders" are a creepy bunch. They sit there and expect to continually grow rich because they are rich and entitled to more and more...for doing NOTHING. I really can not take the market seriously and it is NOT a gauge or a good measurement of what the real economy is doing.

Default USA pledges 1 Billion in Aide to Ukraine....?

Ok let me get this straight. Our middle class is being squeezed like never before, our veterans and elderly are given a back seat, our military is being downsized, there are countless poor hungry people across the country, we are all paying more for health care, we are all paying more more and more and our government is giving ONE BILLION in aid to the Ukraine............?

US prepares $1B aid package for troubled Ukraine

Seriously how much more of this can we take before we break? Our government is out of control. They have blinders on when they view America. The trouble is our enemies see very clearly.
If we had a uprising in America how many countries would step up and give us One Billion dollars?

We have a printing press.

At least the IMF demands austerity measures to make sure they get paid back.
But not us.
