The internet is one of the few areas that an every day American can become wealthy without a lot of money. But now Obama wants to go global (just as Dinesh D' Souza said) Now there are plans to relinquish federal government control over the administration of the Internet, a move that pleased international critics but alarmed some business leaders and others who rely on the smooth functioning of the Web.
What is wrong with this guy and his administration. The internet was invented an American and paid for by the tax payer. Why the .... would they give up control to a global body?

Exactly, what is the point? How will it improve it? What is the potential problems. Hey just hand over an American invention, tax payer paid for invention to a global body. It is working just fine but hey government is here to break it.
Giving up "control of the internet!". OMG! Sounds real scary until you look up exactly what the US is giving up - a clerical role in the assignment of top level domain extensions (.com, .net, .shop...)
Any private company is a global body, so are you saying we should nationalize all the industries to ensure they remain in American hands?
I think perhaps they are talking about global regulation by governing body ;not global private businesses. Obvious to most is that no global or even nation business controls the free market; unless you wear a tin foil hat.
